SCHIESZL RESTAURANT AND WINERY HAS HAD MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED YEARS TRADITION OF LOVING GUESTS AND OF THE RESPECT OF GOOD WINES
The history of the Schieszl family can be traced back to the XVIII. century. Schieszl János estabilished the wine tavern which is the ancestor of today's Schieszl Restaurant and Winery 1896.
Today, the owner of the restaurant is Schieszl Konrad, Jr., who represents the fifth generation of the family in catering.
Schieszl Konrád, Sr. handed the business over to his son in 2005, but as a massive support he is still helping the entire business.
Father and son represent tradition and innovation together. The traditional foods - sausages, mangalica ham - are prepared based on the great - great - grandfather's one hundred - year - old recipes and with the help of modern technology.
